“Devil’s Right Hand” by Paul Cafcae

Devil’s Right Hand is a punk rock tune with catchy blues melodies, tones, and strikingly rebellious notes. This is the artist’s signature style from the USSR, Paul Cafcae. Paul developed a love for music when he was four years old, listening to classics such as Johnny Cash, B.B. King, and Carl Perkins on bootleg tapes. He collaborated with Ethan Tillbury on the upright bass and Diana Herrera on the drums for his latest single. They can also be heard from Paul’s previous songs, recorded and mixed by Andy Dmytryshyn in Hamilton, Ontario, and mastered by Jamie King.

The song begins with a heavy combination of strong drums, distorted guitars, and a groovy blues bass line. The intro shortly transitions to the first verse, with simple drums, bass, and contorted vocals with a megaphone effect. This gives off a rebellious charismatic vibe. The track then enters the first hook with a bang, featuring loud instruments and impressive backing vocals by Ethan and Diana. The tune’s hooks are mesmerizing and memorable, keeping audiences consistently hooked. Every note, chord, and lyric has a melodic rockabilly swing, keeping listeners engaged and rocking to the beat. The song is based on Paul’s real life events, excluding the final portion, and the title comes from the homonymous song from Steve Earle. The track concludes with a final section of the punchy guitar riff, and a sustained rock chord that fades to the background.
